Another great Word from the Lord "Peace". Let's just jump right into it!
Pausing(Is) Essential (to) acquiring Christ's Expectations.
Jesus said in the scriptures,
I have read this verse a million times, ok maybe not a million but a lot. And for some reason, I have never connected to the phrase "in ME you may have peace". Christ has the peace we are looking for. Then the next phrase that captured me was "in the world you will have tribulation" this one I connected to immediately. Yes, Lord in this world, right now I have trouble.
How easy it is to make everything about us. This job, these kids, this man or woman you gave me...and how hard it seems to make it about God (Jesus). Complaining about my problem instead of taking the problem to Jesus and getting his spin or perspective on it seems like my last stop. How about you?
However, in this season of my life, I am finding that making Jesus my first choice instead of my last proves to be more beneficial and certainly effective when it comes to peace.
As I was preparing for the Month and pondering on the Word the Lord was sharing, I heard the Holy Spirit Say this,
"Seasonal God". Allowing God(me) in for a brief period or season (generally when things are not going well) brings brief or seasonal peace. However, allowing God (me) in for Eternity brings "Eternal Peace".
That's something to think about and internalize. Have your really embraced the Prince of Peace? That may lead to go on a Journey to find out who is the Prince of Peace.
Take the month and discover who the Prince of Peace is. The only way to have peace is to remain in the Prince of Peace. Who is the Prince of Peace, Jesus our Savior, He is the Prince of Peace.
