Do you ever feel like you are in a constant battle? If its not this, its that, if its not that its this? Well today, I hope that I can lead you to a place of constant peace, because yes there is a battle, warfare going on, but if you have accepted Jesus Christ, you are equipped and armed. Let's once again revisit this amazing eye opening scripture in St. John 10:10
This version you see stops at the word Life, I love that the first thing Jesus came to do was to give us life. That comes through our Salvation, excepting That God sent Jesus to save. Jesus Died and was brought to Life again by His Father so that you and I might be saved. We have secured lifed after this life. While that is Amazing its not the end.
Look at this version,its complete. Jesus came so that we can have and abudant life. Where is this abundant life found, its only in Him.
Before, I go to far, let's define the word "Abundant". Abundant means something is existing or available in large quantites. Today, I heard the Lord say this to me. I will insert my name but then I ask you to remove my name and replace it with your name,
Letricia, I have come to show you that life exists for you. This life I have is available for youin such a large quanity. The quantity is so large, you are going to have to stay close to me, because you will not be able to contain or sustain it on your own. WOW!!!!
What God was saying to me, is now that you have entered into the door, I am desiring a relationship with you. The greater your connectio the more things I will allow you to see and experience under my protections.
This was a great revelation to me, because that was my experience with John 10 and 10 in this season. I will admit, I have heard and read this scripture enought times to have it memorized.
But this time when I read it, it was different. I know it was different because in the resent years my relationship with God has become different. I have been more willing to seek His will and not interpert His will. Which has looked like letting Go of what I had in mind, so I could take on His Mind and see things as He sees.
THis is my story. This story is ever evolving, just like my relationship with Christ. I encourage you to get your face time in today, and read St. John chapter 10. Get your highlighter, your pen, and your heart ready to receive the pearls God has for you.
There is a War going on, but you can be a winner, when you and I follow the Captain of Hosts.
