"Reversing the Shame through Obedience"

Obedience means to comply with an order, request or law. Obedience Also means to submit to ones authority.

One way we can show our love for God is to be obedient. He said in St. John 14:15, "If you love me keep my commandments".

In order to fully obey we must be in a position to hear Him. Learning to hear the voice of God takes a decision to get in His presence not for the purpose of your will but "His will" to be done. His voice is His Word, the Bible. Reading the bible daily helps to understand the voice of God. See how and what God is capable of encourages confidence in obedience. Trusting that God has the final say, and that waiting on Him is okay. When I am able to trust in God, I have less trust in myself and my situation, which a great thing, because now my perspective has changed. I no longer look to myself which can lead to shame of the choices I made, and now I look to Jesus to be my strength in weakness.

Get your facetime in today. God want to reverse the shame you and I may be experiencing with a plan to move forward. We must submit to the process, our blessing is in our obedience. Check out once again the Story of Hagar in Genesis 16. Here instructions were to "go back and submit". And she did.
