God's Purpose will Keep you

Purpose can be a loaded thought or conversation. It is also the most complicated question anyone has ever asked me. How about your? I think it makes most of us nervous because we are not really clear on God's purpose for our lives. However, when clarity comes, it is the life line to your very existance. It is the one thing that wakes you up in the mornings and the thing that compels you to sleep so that you can rest. It also can be the thing that causes you unrest.

So, today, let's explore the thought, "Purpose will keep you". What exactly is purpose. Purpose is defined as the reason for which something is done or created for or exists. So, what is your purpose?

In the Simply Living space, lets make it simple. Your purpose is the thing God woke you up to do, today. Let'ss keep in mind that each day leads us into the next. Our purpose is to connect with God, and see what He has for us today. For every area of your life, God has purpose. Seek Him through is word, to find out how He wants to be represented in the Earth. Remember to just show up in asking, show up to listen as well.

Look in the back of your bible or google, scriptures that talk aobout your current life. Example if your parenting children, surch the scriptures on how God wants you to steward your children and work at that.

God, has a "Holy Call" for us. We are to represent Christ. No matter what we feel like. When we set time with God, this will be automatic. Even when you go through seasons of unrest, questioning, or weariness. The seeds of seeking God will just show up, and draw others to you. Again, let's take a journey through the pages of the book of Ruth.

God's Purpse will Keep You

Last conversation, we talked about Naomi being a Survivor. That is amazing! However, if you ever been a survivor of something, you may have felt a since of lonliness, and the need or want to be alone. You may also have experience the bitterness of Not know your purpose in living, while someone else had to die. (If we can be real)

Naomi, who had left her homeland, Bethelehm, following her husband ended up loosing everything of value to her. However, what she did not know is she wad gain more value, by becoming the great, great, great, great... grandmother to Jesus Christ Himself.

God's Purpose will keep you

See God's plans and purpose are much greater than ours. Let me say this, It costs!!!

I don't think Naomi understood that her purpose was to convertt a Moabite to Christianity. (this is my spin on what could be a moral to this story) This Mobite would come into the lineage of Jesus. How did all this happen, just by day to day journey and fulfilling the purpose of each day. Surviving the day, can be your purpose in some seasos. As you can read or recall some days are just about surviving that day, yet Purpose will keep you.

I remember experiencings something similar to Naomi. In 2001, God began to call what seemeed like my entire family home. I had very small children at the time, and I remember waking up dreaming of going back to bed. However, I can say today, God's purpose kept me. I survived, and I am so grateful.

God's purpose will keep you.

Naomi tried to dismiss the life she made in Moab, and go back to her homeland, I am sure to die alone. However God had a much bigger purpose. Ruth someohow knew that she was apart of that Journey and refused to abort her purpose.

Once you become aware of it, (not in full details) you can't miss it. Unless you are operating in rebellion, God can even work with that.

Get your facetime in today again read the chapter 1 of the book of Ruth. I have read this about 4 times in the past week and seeing the new things the Holy Spirit highlights is so amazing!

Maybe you had a plan you thought God wanted from you today. There is nothing wrong with reseting and asking God again to make himself clear.
