At the beginning of the Month of July, I heard the Lord speak the word "Able". God then said, I am able. I was really excited and thought about all the things God is able to do, because of what I had seen. So as you can image I wanted to share so many scriptures with you about the "ableness" of God. He said, no! As you journey this month, I will fill in the blank for each day.
It was such a refreshing month to have this amazing word. As things came up, and they did often, I could hear God Whisper, don't forget I AM ABLE.
That being said, let me explore with you what he was wanting to show me. I will begin with the acronym, ABLE. You see it above. God is able to bring life and light to everything.
First thing I want to point out is generally when we think of the word "Able" it has to do with some type of power, skill, means, or opportunity. This is really good. What God was wanting me to see and experience this month, He has the power, but he has also extended the power to me/us.
So, this month, I had the opporunity to do some "On the job training". God showed me His power and showed me the power he has given me. This came by way of light. God began to expose the truth about the situations that caused me to need power to handle them. Once I saw the truth, the solution was simple. Sometimes all you need to use the power God has given, is to know what the "truth" is. Then it will become clear what you need to do. Or it will become clear where you are, which gives you an opportunity to change your course.
So, this is just a summary, I hope it makes sense. I learned this month that the power God has given to me, can only be activated when I am able to see the light God is shining on my situation which includes me.
Now let me talk just a little about life. Christ Died so that you and I could live. He walked the earth, living life as a Human so that you and I could live in Him. Which means we have to die to self.
" For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." Colossiand 3:3
This months journey was my about my capabiity to see what it is to die to myself so that I could live in the Power of God. It was such an incredible experince to know that all I had to do was make a God Connection, take a flight about my sitiuaton and see things from God's perspective, and receive the power He has already given me and take care of the problem,
No, I did not do this own my own. I connected with my source of Power, my source of strength, He inturn empower me to handle and take care of my problems. All of this is a daily process, because there is always a war going on with my flesh and my spirit. However, there is one that is greater, the one I feed the most will always win. The struggle is real, but is our God.
Get your facetime in today. The more time we spend in God's word, the more He empowers, equippes, and sustains us for the journey ahead. I'm still reading the book of Ruth as though it is novel with hundreds of pages. I am continuing to see that God sees us. He sends people to confirm that He sees us right where we are.
