Do you know that God is looking, seeking, scanning the earth for people to pour His Power on or into? The key to really receiving God's Power is to know that He is looking for you. Its' important to how understand who God is and what He desires for us. He is our Omnipotent God. All Powerful, All Seeing, and All knowing.
He sees each of us right where we are. He see our heart. Where is your heart today. Have you taken the time to give your heart to the Lord? He has so much to give a loyal heart. Let's think about what it truly means to be loyal from the depths of our heart, not words of our mouth.
To be loyal means a willingness to show strong and constant support to another's situation or cause. I would like to say it means I am committed no matter what. There is nothing that can keep me from supporting.
As we explore this topic, the Lord has led me to read again, the book of Ruth. I was a little hesitant because of what I knew about the story and wondered how it would apply to God is Able in a new and impactful way. So, I asked God to show me what he wanted tome see in this book, I personally had not been able to see before. The results, continuing to shock me.
It begins with the connection of 2 Chronicles 16:9, and the words highlighted above, along with HEART! As I examine the book, in just the few chapters, there seems to be a theme of loyalty with the ladies, but not just the ladies all Characters.
I want to begin with Ruth. Ruth begins with something so profound that I think it truly is the theme of the book, for all Characters involved. This is what she says..
What do you think? I think that is the definition of Loyalty. Ruth was the picture of what loyalty looks like, and then again so was Naomi. Today, as I see this I want to create a space for God to examine my heart. Have a truly determined that I am going to follow Him, not matter what it looks like. I want to create a space for God to examine my heart, and show me me. I need and want to experience all His Power, so I may position myself in the right space to pray. Not, just with mere words, but actions. I want the character of Ruth to shine forth in me. How about you?
Get some facetime in today, and see how God was able to show Himself Strong in the life of Ruth. This is such good food for our spiritual soul. Perhaps we ask God for things, and we are not ready to receive what He as for us? Remember He is looking for you, and He Sees you. Let us do the same, look for God so we can see and experience is Power in us.
