FaceTime-Psalms 35

Connection, Confidence, and Courage!

Have you ever felt alone? Of course, you have, and so have I. When we are feeling the most alone, because of this thing called "life" this is the best time to connect with God. How you may ask? It's through prayer (talking and listening to God). During this time of talking to God, you can tell him things maybe you would not share with others, because of fear of how they would perceive you. You can also be reminded of just how incredible God is.

In the Psalms today, you will find David pouring out his heart to God, and even requesting how he would like God to take care of his enemies. To say some of the things David says for God to do to his enemies would maybe cause people in our Christian Circles to abandon us.... here are a few examples...

vs1 "Fight against those who fight against me"

vs 6 "Let their way be dark and slippery"

vs 8 "Let destruction come upon him suddenly"

This sounds like a man who was lonely and even afraid. One thing he knew was to connect this with his heavenly Father. By the end of this conversation, I believe David's Confidence was lifted, "Let the Lord be magnified... and the courage to do what God has called all of us to do, just praise. "And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long." Psalms 35:28

But don't take my word read it for yourself.
