Face-Time Psalms 83 "The conspiracy Theory"

Have you ever felt like things and/or people were mounting up and "coming for you" (as my children would say)? Of course, you have, and so have I. Some seasons it seems like endless attacks. I just believe somethings are allowed to happen for the very purpose of fine-tuning our ears and opening our hearts to God afresh. I say that because it's during these times of "hard press" that I am reminded that God is Real! That God is close to me and all I need to do is to activate His presence with my prayer. I can come to Him with an honest thought, true or not it's how I'm feeling. And HE LISTENS! Here the Psalmist is under great attack, and you can sense His frustration, by the things He is asking and the Way He is asking God.

The Conspiracy

vs 1 "Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God!

vs 2 "For Behold, Your enemies make a tumult, And those who hate You have lifted up their head.

vs 3 "They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones"

vs 4 "They have come, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more."

vs 5 "For they have consulted together with one consent;

God can you Handle this for us...

vs 13 "O my God, make them like the whirling dust..."

vs 15 "Pursue them with your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm.

vs 16 "Fill their faces with shame..."

vs 17 "Let be confounded and dismayed forever;"

Oh, my I can put myself in the very situation, and know-how the Psalmists if feeling. Sometimes, you can't tell everyone what you are experiencing because they will think you are being "extra" and try and convince you that's its not like that. But you can tell God all about your trouble. Take a deeper look at these Psalms, and make your personal connection. I pray that your will be encouraged to talk to God about your frustrations and take courage in the fact that He listens.

The Why

Vs 18 "That they may Know that You whose name alone is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth."
