"Let's Just Praise the Lord"
is what hear the Psalmists saying! Sometimes that's it. Let's Just Praise...but why? Let's listen in
vs 1 "In Judah God is known; His name is great in Isreal."
vs 2 "His dwelling place in Zion"
vs 3 "There he broke the arrows of the bow"
vs 4 "you are more glorious and excellent, than the mountains of prey"
vs 6 "at your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both the chariot and horse were cast into a dead sleep"
According to a little reading about this Psalms, it looks like Isreal had just won a battle. They of course would attribute to God Almighty! So I say to you today, we have read a number of Psalms where the Psalmist is sharing his feelings and troubles with the Lord. This part of that conversation with God, however, don't forget when He (God) shows up, (and he will show up) don't forget to praise Him, for every detail. Remind others to Praise Him. Not only praise but remember that God is to be feared, or reverenced in that He is Holy, He is sovereign, He is Lord!
Get your facetime in today. This Psalms is a good one to meditate on the Majesty of God.
