Face-Time Psalms 69

"Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired" This what this Psalms reminds me of. The length in which he goes on to say describe his situation, tells me He is Sick and tired of being Sick and Tired. He needs Help. Remember this Song?

We call for God's help when these emotions rise up.

When I personalize the Psalms, I think of so many things that are coming against me, which in my "world" are my enemies. When I do this, I can relate to the struggles the Psalmists speak of. How sometimes, my emotions are getting the best of me, my thoughts or overwhelming me, and on top of that my physical body is failing me. Can you relate? Let's take a look...

Call for Help

vs 1 "Save me, O God!"

Why???

vs1 "The waters have come upon me to my neck"

vs2 "I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing;

vs 3 "I am weary with my crying; My throat is dry; my eyes fail while I wait for my God"

Understanding the "Call of God " Costs

vs 7 "Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; shame has covered my face"

vs 8 "I have become a stranger to my brothers, and an Alien to my Mother's Children"

Praise to God

vs 30 "I will Praise the name of God with a Song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving"

vs 35 "For God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah"

So much more to grasp from these Psalms, I can tell it all. However, I pray your appetite has been heightened so that you will get some face-time with God today! Be encouraged. God has not forgotten and loves to hear from you and to share comfort and counsel through His Word, the Bible.
