Face-Time Psalms 66

Praise God!!! He hears our prayers and has not rejected them. What an amazing Psalms to think about, meditate on, and remember this 1st Sunday in March. This psalmist is calling for all of us to make a "Joyful shout" to our God. God is so, so, good. I am ready to praise Him, are you? Let's peek into how and why we should praise our God.

Praise the Lord Everybody!

vs 1 "Make a joyful should to God All the Earth"

vs 8 "O Bless our God, you peoples"

Descriptive Praise (Praising God for who He is and What He does)

vs 9 "Who keeps our soul... and not allowed our feet to be moved"

vs 10 "For you God, have tested us; You have refined us..."

vs 11 "You have brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our back..."

vs 12 "But you brought us to rich fulfillment"

Declarative Praise (Praising God for specific answers to prayer)

vs 16 "Come all who hear, all you who fear God, And I will declare what He has done for my soul"

vs 17 "I cried...And He extolled with my tongue"

vs 19 "Certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer"

What's your praise report looking like this morning, afternoon, or evening? God is truly worthy to Be praised, not because delivers us from every single thing we experience, but because "God always settles the storm. Sometimes He takes us out of the storm and sometimes He takes the storm out of us" (Pastor Rob Koke, Shoreline Church)
