Have you ever been in a season, where your enemies, or those who oppose you are now starting to gain Victory over you, over your mind, over your destiny?
Once again, we have Psalms, where the writer is talking to God about his enemies and the toll they are having on him. He shares about being oppressed, the tormenting of his enemies, and the strength of their fight against him. So much so, it causes some fear and possibly anxiety.
vs 1 "Be merciful to me, O God, for man would swallow me up; Fighting all day he oppresses me.
vs 2 "My enemies would hound (torment) me all day, for there are many who fight against me."
Sounds intense! I know what that feels like, do you? Sometimes it's not an actual person, sometimes it the circumstances that are surrounding me in season. Anything that is opposing and causing me to focus on it all day, is a "tormenting" spirit in my world. So, like almost every psalm, this writer turns to God. OMG!!! I can not express to you the weights that have been lifted in my life, just because I knew that God was on my side, and I could trust Him to comfort me.
Listen (then read)
vs 8 "You number my wanderings; Put my tears into your bottle..."
vs 9 "When I cry out to you, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me"
vs 11"In God I have put my trust: I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
I absolutely love this! This Psalms is Amazing. Get your face time in today. Let God comfort you.
