Face-Time Psalms 55 "Trust God with your Enemies"

Today our Psalmist is troubled deeply about that of a friend who has turned against him. Listen...

vs1 "My heart is severely pained within me...

vs 6 "...Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest."

vs 12" For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; Then I could bear it..."

vs 13"But it was you, a man my equal, My companion and my acquaintance.

vs 14 "We took sweet counsel together And walked to the house of Godin the throng.

WOW!!! Some of the hardest things to endure in life are when those closest to us, betray and or abandon us. Sometimes it's on purpose, and sometimes, life happens and everyone does not make the same choice as you. We know that the fallout is unbearable at the times. However, I love that the writer of the Psalms takes his problem to God.

vs 16 "As for me, I will call upon God, And the Lord shall save me.

vs 17 "Evening and Morning and at noon I will pray and cry aloud, and You shall hear my voice."

Amazing!!! God has never lost one battle, even during those times it seems we can not make it through. Let me encourage you...Hold on, stay in the Face of God. Read these Psalms and find comfort in Knowing no matter, What God will Always Win!!!
