Face-Time Psalms 42 "Are you Thirsty?"

Let's just jump right in and define "Thirsty". One definition to "be in need of water; dry, parched." Another definition is "having a strong desire for something". What you are you Thirsty for and How are you fulfilling your Thirst is the question at hand today.

In Today's Psalms, we discover yet again the Psalmist with so many ways of expressing his need for God along with His comfort in knowing God is there. I said it before, I love the humanity I experience while reading the Psalms. I can truly connect with the Psalmist when He opens up and says

"As the deer pants for the water brooks So pants my soul for You, O God" vs 1

If you are feeling like this, take a flight above your situation and connect with God. Maybe the outward signs are pointing to needing more finances, a better career, basic needs for your family, help in your relationships. I would be inclined to say yes, while these things are causing voids, make room for God so that He can first comfort you. Then He can give you wisdom, strategy, and plan on how He wants to fulfill the desires of your heart.

"When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go with the multitudes; I went with them to the house of God" vs 4

Get your face time in today, Read Psalms 42 just making the connection with the Psalmist it will bless you, at least it did for me. I am not crazy or alone in my thoughts.
