Face-Time Psalms 39 A Psalms of Wisdom & Forgiveness

"Lament"

Good morning! Can you or have you ever imagined what it is to lead, an army to Victory? Waking up every day contemplating what strategy you will need to defeat your enemy. Often an enemy that is much larger and perhaps, seems to be more skillful than yourself? What would you do, who can you trust with all the pressure and anxiety that you are feeling? Can you put yourself in the place of the one who is so emotionally draining that they begin to make costly mistakes, and yet the challenge of the day is to fight on to Victory?

Our Psalms this morning is one of the many Psalms, where David releases His Lament to God. "Lament" a passionate expression of grief or sorrow. As we read, and connect with the verses, you can see that David, is perplexed, to to the point of wondering when will his life end, or which battle will cost Him his life, and so He asks the question "Lord, make me know my end, And what is the measure of my days, that I may know how frail I am" vs 4. This was also a wise question.

Read for yourself and know that you can talk to God about anything. Even your emotions, He is listening.
