The Freedom in Forgiveness
"Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, Whose sin is covered". Psalms 32:1
Happy Love Month! Today we begin another new month in our new year! Time for yet another reset. This month is known as the month of Love, I believe God would have us to think "Forgiveness". We will not just think about forgiveness, but the Freedom forgiveness holds. Let's think about What freedom awaits us when we confess our sins unto God. 1 John 1:9
Today's Psalms 32 speaks of this very topic. I will of course ask you to read the entire Psalms for yourself and take note of those things that you connect with.
Here just a few of my connections:
vs 1 "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven and whose sin is covered"
vs 3 "When I kept silent, my bones grew old"
vs 4 "day and night your hand was heavy upon me;"
vs 5 "I acknowledged my sin to you"
vs 7 " You are my hiding place..."
vs 8 " I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go"
Note:
transgression is passed over or beyond; to overpass a rule prescribed as the limit of duty.
sin-any action, or feeling that goes against God's Standards.
