Face Time-Psalms 27

"My Hope Remains"

Today, you may find yourself coasting through life, there is no excitement or joy, only the daily tasks of survival. I want to share that's ok because left to ourselves, that what can happen. However, I would like to encourage you this Wednesday, to grab some Facetime with God and Read Psalms 27 in particular.

When I made the choice at the age of 16 to become a committed believer in God, I remember this Psalms being one that I memorized! It was such an encouragement to me then and is definitely an energizer in my faith now. As a teen, I was (at the time), the only one in my family who was willing to develop a relationship with God. I am not saying the others were not Saved, but there is a difference in how you choose to try and live your life when you in a relationship. The transitional struggle is hard, but when those closes to you are not interested, it is even harder. So, I often felt comfort in knowing "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid." Psalms 1-2 Wow!!!! What a burst of encouragement just in the two verses. God is with me!

Don't take my word, get some Face Time in today, and see how the verses in Psalms 27 will impact your day!
