It is so important to pay attention to wise counsel. I'm sure we can all relate to times when we were sitting in the midst of wisdom, and it was not until later that we truly understood the meaning of what was being said. Looking back, I find that it was really unfortunate to take some of the paths I took all because I did not pay attention.
In today's Proverbs, the Father is urging the son to "keep" his words and his commandments. Also to "write". This is so important. It reminds me of a very important person on my "spirutial journey". She would always say, here are some nuggets. I remember saying to myself, (after a while) I better tuck them away for later. I did that because at the time I could not comprehend how they applied to my life. However, you can trust me, they all came and still come up when I need them. What a blessing to have wise people in your life.
But most of all, it is important to have the word of God in our lives. Get your face time in today. This is a really good Proverbs. So much to learn about the "Crafty Harlot".
