Yesterday, I asked you if you were a detailed person or not. Today, the question I want to ask "Are you planner?" If so, how far in advance (with your planning) do you feel that you have done an adequate job in preparing your future. Again, for me, I say, it depends on what it is. I learned to plan when I was a young girl. Planning was like dreaming. I would plan in order to escape the uncomfortable places I was in. It looked like taking the necessary steps, I needed to get out of the lifestyle I was currently in, which was what I considered poverty.
Therefore, I began to prepare, how I would make it out. That to me looked like going to the Military. Well after 3 years of JrRotc, I realized that was not going to happen. By this time I am a Junior in High School and its time to prepare for college. So, I did that. Went to college to earn my degree in Accounting, which I did. Guess what??? The next think I knew, I was rolling on the floor at my in home daycare taking care of infants. With all my planning, nothing seemed to be going my way. This was the beginning of me, releasing my dreams and expectations and seeking God for His Plan. That has been and currently remains an interesting journey.
The proverbs today is a good reminder to take things one day at at time. Do your best everyday to do what God is calling you to do. If I put words to that I would say "Simply Live in Purpose".
Here are a few of my favorite sayings today, that will help.
vs 23 "Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds;
vs 24 "For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations.
vs 25 "When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itsself, And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in,
vs 26 "The lambs will provide your clothing, And the goats milk for your food,
For the food of your household, And the nourshiment of your maidservants."\
If we remain Present, God will provide every single thing we need. Get your facetime in today.
