Here are just a few of my favorite scriptures from this Proverb.
vs 1 "A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son is the grief of his mother."
vs 3 "the Lord will not all the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked."
vs 7 "The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot."
vs 8 "The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall."
vs 13 "In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding."
vs 19 "In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise."
There is so much wisdom to receive from these Proverbs. Which one do you connect with? Get your face time in today.
Father, we thank you for the wisdom of the word of God. Thank you that whenever we feel like we need some wisdom, all we have to do is ask. In the book of James chapter 1 and verse 5, you said you would give it to us "liberally" if we would just ask. As we begin or end this day, we want to ask that you give wisdom for this journey and or season we are in now. In Jesus' name amen.
