Proverbs is one of my favorite books of the bible. I love gaining Wisdom and insight from the heart of God. Who does not pray and ask for Wisdom? For me, it can be a daily prayer, if not a couple of times throughout the day. Now, what is the purpose of this book? The book of proverbs is filled with Bible Truths, Wisdom, or sayings considered to be wise. This book of Proverbs is Primarily written by King Solomon. Let's set our hearts this Morning toward God, so that we may gain a heart of Wisdom through today's Proverbs.
Solomon's Proverbs, What is the Purpose?
vs 1 "The proverbs of Solomon the song of King David, King of Isreal"
vs 2 "To Know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words of understanding,"
vs 3 "To receive the instruction of Wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity;
vs 4 "To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion-"
Read this Proverbs, grab your highlighter, pencil, notebook... this is wisdom you don't want to leave without. This is also an amazing Psalms to share with your children. Read it together or have them read and take notes to share over dinner. It has some good table topics to discuss. I'm so excited about our new adventure together. The last 90 days have been amazing!!!!
