What if we could all just be honest! The snares of temptation are all around us. Especially in the world in which we live. I feel we are constantly being bombarded by body images, in a provocative way. Have you been watching a commercial and wondered how a woman coming out half-naked had anything to do with the thing being advertised? Or the inappropriate TV advertisement for an upcoming show during a family movie or show. What if we could really see these things for what they are, tricks and schemes to keep our eyes and minds distracted. Maybe not for the current time, but for a later date. It's all a set up to entice us or lure us from our purpose to seek something or long for something that has not been given to us. Or, to keep us in a state of "never being Satisfied. "
While it is our reality, God's Truth always remains the same. He has some great wisdom today, as we peek into Proverbs Chapter 5. It speaks of a "strange woman" (we saw her briefly in chapter 2) who is believed to be another man's wife. It also gives instructions concerning the wife of one's youth. I love the fact that "with every temptation, there is an escape".
It is good to have warnings before the storm so you can better prepare for survival. Get your face time in today. The scriptures I would highlight are featured in the photo take look, then read for yourself. Remember this is a warning to Men & Women alike.
