Focused Attention Concentrated Effort Time For God
Getting to know God, and gain the confidence to trust Him is not an easy journey. I have discovered that spending intentional, focused time with God each day in His word, has allowed me to know who he is. This is one component of prayer. I began this journey at the age of 16 after attending a Youth Bible Study. I was overwhelmed, excited, and fearful of the way my peers recited scripture and debated scripture. From that day, I was compelled to get to know the Word.
Shortly after that encounter, I heard my Pastor say "if you want to know the will of God read His word." That has set me on a course for over 3 decades of learning God through is His word. I got to learn His voice, His attributes, His character, and His love for me.
Please note, this is an on-going learning process. The school will never be out because God is infinite in all aspects. However, laying a foundation, and building on it equips you for the journey ahead. God, already knows you, take time to get to know HIM. You may just find out a few things about yourself. Trust me, man has some answers, but God has All the answers. #FaceTime
