F.A.I.T.H. – Resurrected Faith Acrostic

The significance of today's Letter T lies in its ability to highlight a person, place, thing, or idea. It helps me concentrate and maintain a singular focus—God. The word THE holds great importance. Proverbs 3 clearly instructs us on whom to place our trust: the one true Living God, who is Lord. Let's delve into today's letter T.

The "T" in F.A.I.T.H. – Trusting The One True God

In the F.A.I.T.H. acrostic, "T" stands for "The"—but it’s not just a filler word. It’s a declaration of specificity. It reminds us that our faith isn't placed in just any god, idea, or system. It is anchored in the one true God—distinct, unchanging, and sovereign.

When we talk about resurrected faith, we’re talking about faith that returns to the Source—not a substitute, not a temporary fix, but the Heavenly Father, the Creator of all.

Why "The" Matters

In a world full of options, distractions, and opinions, we can unknowingly place our faith in lesser things:

  • The approval of people

  • The security of finances

  • The stability of routines

But none of these can sustain the weight of our faith. They shift, they fade, and they fail. Only The God—The Alpha and Omega—can hold the fullness of our trust and belief.

Resurrected Faith Refocuses on The Source

Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Not a word, not any voice—but The Word.

When we resurrect our faith, we are reclaiming its proper focus—placing it back in The One who is unchanging, the One who spoke creation into existence, and the One who speaks life into our weary hearts. Let's take a moment.

Reflection Questions:

  • Have I placed my faith in substitutes rather than The Source?

  • Where in my life have I settled for good enough instead of God's best?

  • How does focusing on God, the one true God, shift my perspective today?

Let's Pray

Help us realign our faith in you, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Your word guides and refreshes us. Refresh us with a Rhema Word now to revive our faith. We believe in you, in Jesus' name, Amen.
