Jesus, the great I AM. I Am is the creator, Healer, and Powerful Ruler, for starters. He is our Savior who deserves all of the Praise Honor and Glory. The One who made it all, knows it all, and controls it ALL. Jesus, the great I AM. Yet, he still makes himself accessible to me and you.
Jesus, the great I AM is Everything I/we need Him to be. Glory to God.
Just like this woman at the well had an encounter with Jesus, we can too can encounter the Great I AM, as comes right where we are. She found Him to be what she was missing.
Just like Mary and Martha! Jesus, the great I am comes to raise my loved ones from the dead. And to speak truth. Let's keep praying for those who need to know the Great I AM.
Have you ever been in a season that was so dark, you didn't think you could ever survive? I can only imagine what the children of Israel felt being in bondage for over 400 years. What the slaves in America felt like...I can only imagine how you feel when darkness is all you can see. Today, we call Jesus our "Dayspring".
Dayspring is a particular point of the horizon at which the sun comes up on any given day. Is that not "Yummy". The point when the Son shows up on any given day. In this scripture it is referring to the coming Messiah. He will come to provide the light of truth and forgiveness to those blinded by the darkness of their sins. For this I am grateful.
WOW!!! There is something about the name of Jesus! Get your FaceTime in. I pray it does for you what it is doing for me. It gives me energy and nourishment as I read about pray the names of Jesus.
Jesus the Great I am, and Jesus my DaySpring.
