Calling on the Names of Jesus 10 & 11

Alpha and the Omega! In the greek, Alpha and Omega are the first and the last letters of the Greek Alphabet. This name of Jesus, Alpha and Omega designates the comprehensiveness of God. Alpha and Omega implying that God includes all that can be included. Wow!

In the Hebrew Alpha and Omega, means beginning and the End. In Hebrew language we can view it as , "That which is, was, and is to come".

I love this bold statement. Jesus declares who is from beginning to end. Glory to God.

Jesus our Advocate.

Advocate in the greek is "parakelelos", which means one who is called to our side. As our Advocate, Jesus comes along side us as our counselor, comforter, and defense attorney.

The word advocate speaks of Jesus as intercessory work. When we sing Jesus represents us as our Advocate with Father God. He pleads our case in heaven's court. He is our defense against satan our accuser.

Thank you Jesus for being our defense attorney against from the beginning to end. You have always been on call for us as we go through the process of learning of you.

These names are so important to our prayers. It is important that when we call on the name of Jesus we are clear who we are calling on. We are calling on Jesus with humility because we understand who He is and who we are not.

I encourage you to get your FaceTime in. Read the scriptures here and research more for even more clarity. The more we know about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit the better our relationship.
